Daily Photos 5th year
At the Daily Gallery one picture, preferably taken that day; is shared with others. While that is difficult to follow (shooting everyday) I have been putting up a picture everyday and this is my FIFTH year. It's been an enjoyable three years viewing pictures of other members and learning new techniques and customs from different places. I think this is the best way to travel to places while sitting at home, and also making friends on the way! It has been a pleasure sharing my pictures and I thank all of you for taking the time to comment on my pictures.

Pench National Park
5th year Pic 100 - 07-Feb-2014. Why did the boars cross the road? - Pench National park
During one of the rides in the park, these boars suddenly came out and crossed the road in front of our vehicle.
Pench National park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the satpuda hills is named after Pench river, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra. Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighbourhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling's most famous work, The Jungle Book. - More details

on February 11, 2014Harsh, You were certainly very luck to see and capture these 4 boars. When I have been out I have maybe 2 and was only able to capture a good photo of one. Your boar looks totally different than the ones we have seen in Florida. Arnold
