Our first stop in Sri Lanka was Galle, the southern beach town. We stayed at the Fortress, an exquisite hotel with a fortress type of a facade. The architecture inside had Dutch and Portuguese styles. Situated next to the blue waters of the Indian Ocean it had a lot of open space and the rooms were also very spacious. A gym, a spa, a swimming pool over looking the sea and lush greenery made this a perfect place to relax after a day around the city.

on January 24, 2009This one really pulls in the eye. I love the center detail of the chair backs reflected in the pool and the slanting light. Great job!

on January 20, 2009Spectacular view & image Harsh ! Wonderful work my friend, I would love to stay at a place like this, good eye spotting this scene. BTW: The Abstract building with the white lights going down the side you commented on was actually a Temple of some sort, it has religious sayings written in those light lines and I could hear folks praying inside very early in the morning while I shot those. I will have to find out more information on it because I'm curious about it myself
