American visitors at Om
A group of American women visited Om Creations on 18th January 2010 as part of: "Among Women: An International Dialogue" Bangladesh & India: Beyond Caste and Poverty.
After the traditional Indian greetings with tika and garland, the women spent time picking up various items made by the ladies of Om creations. This was followed by a dance performance to the song Jai Ho! and a delicious lunch.
Om Creations is a registered non-profit organisation that is doing pioneering work with developmentally challenged women. Daughter Vinati joined Om after finishing her studies at SPJ Sadhana school, Mumbai.
