Sea link (Pic 27 2nd year)

It was a cloudy evening and light was poor. I tried to go as slow as possible without disrupting the traffic!


We were going to the airport and Jay took some pictures as I was driving on the newly opened Bandra-Worli Sea link at Mumbai. The 5.6 kms (3 miles) long bridge with a 600 mts. long cable-stayed bridge connects the western suburbs to central Mumbai and should ease the congestion of traffic.

The bridge is not totally completed. The parallel four-lanes is not finished yet and that's the reason for the crane.

The car on the right is the famous Yellow-Black taxi of Mumbai. It's basically a Fiat model made decades back! They are now phasing them out - thankfully! :)

PP colour correction due to mixed light sources & a bit of a crop and sharpening. No noise reduction.
