Hershy > Mehendi application
After application, the paste is allowed to dry for 2-3 hours and then scraped off. The design comes up in a shade of brownish orange and the tone depends on the individual's body heat. The color takes on a deeper tone if kept for a longer time.

Hershy > 3 generations
Shot on a Sunday. This is round the corner from my house. The small building in front is a very old temple. The building behind it was built much after that and the last one a couple of years back.

Shot at my cousin's garden in Ahmedabad.

Hi everyone! I am off tomorrow for a week and won't be able to check the Daily section as am not carrying my notebook with me. Will check them on my return or maybe on Sunday if I get time to access the Net. I have asked my son Jay to add a picture for the days I am gone so look forward to your comments too. Cheers till next week.

Hershy > Plan B:
This 'open' hearse and the ambulance were parked near a hospital in Pondicherry. Guess the hospital authorities didn't want to waste much time.
