Macau
On way to New Zealand, we made a stop at Macau and stayed at the Venitian Hotel. Macau has based itself into a mini Vegas and is full of glitz & glamour and obviously, casinos! Venitian is a huge hotel with 3000 rooms plus two theatres, canals with gondolas and shops. It's easy to get lost so a map of the hotel is given when you check-in! Unfortunately the stay was less than 24 hours, not enough to take in the huge hotel and city surroundings. We managed to see Zaia, a show by Cirque du Soleil and then a dinner at Wynn hotels' Ristorante il Teatro with dancing fountains outside the restaurant.
