Hershy > Trump! (222 31 Dec) D300 ISO 400 f7 1/125 I end this year with a subject dear to many of us here. Trump is a very loving dog and I always look forward to meeting him when I stay at Sanjay's house in Ahmedabad. It's been a great pleasure being a part of the Daily community and I thank you all for your support and comments on my images. Thank you also for sharing great pictures which have helped me improve my vision. Along the way I have made friends and it was heartening to get the support during the recent terrorist attack on my city. Especial thanks to Bill (Pador) for his efforts to keep me linked with other members. I wish you all a healthy, wealthy and peaceful 2009! www.javeri.net

This is the view from the first floor (second for USA!) of the Tintagel hotel. We were on a 'tour' of the rooms and I had to hurry to cover the interesting decors of each room and other places. The green on the two orbs is sort of a lawn! Shooting was difficult because of the low light and I did not like the straight flash shot so used it with Slow Sync at a low speed. This old colonial house was the residence of ex PM Bhandarnayak, now converted into a lovely boutique hotel. Right in the middle of the city this small place offers a quiet and homely atmosphere. Each room is spacious and done up in different decors.
