Aamby Zoo : Unknown to most, Aamby valley has a small zoo with some lovely animals including different breeds of dogs and a few mix breeds as well. Due to time constraints I could not visit their orphanage which has more animals. Dinner at Naga village : For the cocktail-dinner evening, guests were taken in boats to the Naga Village. Just before landing they were welcomed by the 'Naga tribals' with lit torches. Suresh Menon started off with his light banter and 'interviewed' the two families. Shripal's beautiful and sensitive video titled 'Ami my friend' touched everyone's hearts. The star of the evening was Song Nigam who sang and danced for nearly two & half hours before a drizzle stopped him. Another 'star' was Vini who ventured on to the stage and danced with him, something he doesn't allow as a rule! After him DJ Akhtar took over and kept many people on their feet till wee hours of the morning. Colourful decor, fantastic fireworks and delicious food made for a prefect evening. What a memorable evening! Mehendi : Mehendi at Supreme fountains, Aamby Valley The venue looked beautiful with a mountain for a backdrop and a sprinkling of fountains, colourful tents and stalls. Unfortunately the green and yellow colours proved to be a photographic nightmare turning faces to ghastly hues. I have tried to correct the colour casts as best as I could.
